Useful information related to different works at PUNE RTO Office.

For the new vehicle I took, I wanted to remove Hypothecation from the RC. So instead of going through Agent by paying the unnecessary extra amount to him, I thought of doing on my own.  So I reached RTO office and asked someone the process to remove Hypothecation from the RC, they directed me to one counter, then asked the gentlemen on the counter and he pointed me to another counter. There a big line was there and after waiting for 30mins for my turn, the person in the counter verified all the documents and told me "you have to make payment online and bring this and this document, sign here and there. So I had to return back without successful completion of work. But the thing is for this work to get done Fee is 250 rs as per rule and agents were asking not less than 1000rs.

So to help at least someone else who has work in RTO office like "Transfer of Ownership", "No Objection Certificate", "Duplicate Registration Certificate" and "Re-Registration". I am sharing the important information related to each of the tasks. Please note these are for PUNE RTO.

We have to carry several documents for each of the work and need to pay Fee online. We will have 2 options either go through broker\agent by paying 3 to 4 times of the fee or reach directly RTO office and ask someone and roam all the counters like the way I did today.
