How to collect RC of vehicle from PUNE Pimpri RTO office.


If you have missed to collect the RC of your vehicle at your address or if the RC is not delivered at your address, you visit the Pimpri RTO office with below documents and make a payment of 50rs and they will hand over the RC to you. Below are the details to collect your undelivered RC from RTO office Pimpri, PUNE.

Below documents required :

1. RC return form. (You will get this form in Xerox shops near RTO Office, I have not found it online)
2. Address proof
3. ID proof. 
4. Tax invoice of your vehicle. 
5. Receipt of the fee paid for the removal of hypothecation.
6. Need to pay 50rs at RTO office and submit that receipt as well.

Below are specific to Pimpri RTO Office.

2.   Visit the 2nd building in the Pimpri RTO Office. They provide you the missing\undelivered\uncollected RC’s only from 10AM to 2PM only. So make sure you visit by 10 AM itself.





3.   Show the fee receipt you paid and along with that provide all the above documents in this counter.

4.   The person at the counter will verify your documents and if all the documents required are there then they will put a stamp stating documents verified and ask you to make fee payment of 50rs in first floor counter of the same building.

5.   Then go to the first floor and make fee payment of 50rs in below counter and collect the receipt from the counter.




6.   Go back to the ground floor and show the 50rs fee paid receipt in the same counter you visited at first.


7.   They will take the receipt and then they will look for your RC and will ask you to sign in register and will hand over the RC to you.


Reach RTO office by 10AM, then you don’t need to stand in the long queue and even if you have to submit more documents you will have enough time.

Hope this helps someone to avoid paying the unnecessary extra amount to the agents. Agents were charging around 1000rs to 1500rs.

Add in comments sections if any other documents they asked you to submit for collection of RC.

    What if I am staying at rent and I don't have a registered rent agreement (no address proof). The showroom took some extra money from me because of the same. Maybe they gave this money to the officer who verified my bike.So, what should I do in case I don't have the address proof.

      You need to have an address proof. You can make rent agreement online also now a days in Pune. contact nobroker.com or do yourself here "https://efilingigr.maharashtra.gov.in/ereg/"

      Once your loan is cleared you need to go to online RTO website and pay fee of rs 100/-. Once you pay the amount you will receive a receipt and they will start processing your RC without hypothecation. You need to take printout of this 100/- fee payment receipt and take along with other documents while collecting the RC.

    Latest Update : Timing has been Changed for RTO
    Time : 10:30 to 2 pm.Weekday.
    Saturday 10:30 to 1 pm.

    Hello All i visited today. process is changed. Here is full detail
    1) Make sure to take 2 Address proof, proof should have same address what is in RC , Voter id, adhar, DL, rent agreement+ Bill,
    2) go to Window 3 , and write bike/Car Number on one page and give it to lady sitting at window 3, She will check if RC is returned to RTO or not , if available then she'll ask to submit below document
    1) two address proof with same address what is in RC
    2) RTO registration copy
    3) application on the blank page
    4) RC return Form ( with Passport Photo)

    to save your time keep above documents handy, As soon as she confirm that RC is available in RTO, just hand over above documents to her.
    now she'll validate address and if found same what is in RC then she'll give bar code, or she may ask to give your open with open Camera and she'll take Photo of bar code and will return , now you need to visit near online service guy and ask them to help in payment, we need to pay 50rs to RTO website, she online service guy can do it quickly, i took their help they changed me 100 rs and give payment printout. once you have printout , go back to window 3 and give her payment print out
    She'll give RC and she'll ask to Sign in register
